When I upload with Front Page and go back an check my site nothing appears?

First refresh your browser and if that does not work then see below for proper use of front page

although we do not recommend Front Page (it is a very bad web authoring tool my opinion only)
but some of you are set in your ways

First make sure you extensions are installed in your cPanel (they are off by default)

set up your directory structure like the example below or it will not publish correctly

your home computer: correct way

/mywebsite
/mywebsite/images
/mywebsite/folders

do not build a page like this

/mywesite
c:/mydocuments/images/
c:/somecontentformywebpage/folders

example HTML calling an image the wrong way
img border=0 xsrc="../mydocuments/images/picture.gif"

example calling a HTML the wrong way
a xhref="../somecontentformmywepage/document.html"

if your website is stored on your home computer in the format shown above
it will try and upload your content this way Front Page will only do what you tell it to do it is not magic it will not read your mind
the format above will upload your everything in /mydocuments/images/ & /somecontentformywebpage/folders
in front of your public_html directory making it unviewable

you will be able to view your web page just fine on your home computer

sever directory structure
/username/public_html

all viewable content must be uploaded to the public_html folder

to publish with Front Page click publish or send to the web or whatever Microsoft is using these days
enter a fully propagated domain name and then the username & password provided

use yourdomainname.com do not put the http:// in if your get an error then add the www in front of your domain name

done if your extensions are not installed you will get an error message
